He Established Hotel Baseraa at an age of 30 years and has since then pioneered every project in the group.

He had been the Founder – Member of the Hotelier Association of AP for five consecutive years.

He had been an Executive Committee Member for FHRAI for seven years.

He studied Hotel Management from Ecole Lemania, Lausanne, Switzerland and MBA in Hospitality from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, USA.

His skills include:

• Leading the fastest growing restaurant group in the city
• Managing daily operations of 3 hotels, a number of restaurants & food-courts, serving over 5000 guests daily and employing over 2000 employees
• Launched city’s first boutique hotel in February 2004 – Ohri’s Banjara with 4 restaurants
• Launched Secunderabad first 24hrs coffee shop – pickles
• Launched city’s biggest food court at Prasad’s IMAX
• Launched first Pub in city-Out Swinger, after prohibition

Under Amar Ohri’s leadership the group bagged many laurels and awards;
